Who I Am

     Hey everyone! My name is Matt and I am an aspiring writer from the Chicago suburbs. I have always loved writing but I have never taken the steps to truly put my work out there. I have started my website “Entice Your Mind” to do just that! On it I will be posting an at least once a week blog on a wide range of subjects including self-improvement, positive thinking, world news, philosophy, spirituality, and information on any topic I feel like investigating that week! My curiosity is endless so I believe my writing topics should be as well!
     I encourage debate, so if you disagree with me, please say so! We expose ourselves to different ideas and challenge our own preconceived notions by opening up our beliefs to debate and so I look forward to discussing any topic with those who think differently than me.
     I will also promote my writing, which I hope to publish, or at least self-publish in the near future. I am very supportive of creative content so I will also promote the work of my friends, family, and anyone I think deserves to be heard!
     A little bit about myself so you can know the person behind the words; I am currently 28 years old and I am happily living with my soul mate Sabrinka. I work full time as a Firefighter Paramedic and I absolutely love my job! I love to read, write, travel, exercise, watch movies, hike, eat amazing food and debate on and endless list of subjects! I am always looking at ways to better myself and to help others do the same. I truly believe that this world could continue to become a more amazing place if we all work to educate ourselves and to empathize and connect with other humans.
